What Dirr is

Dirr is an independent reference for AI agent tools. We decode what each one really costs, score them on one fixed rubric, and date every figure. No advertorials, no hype, no hidden hand on the scale.

independent · not affiliated with listed tools

Why it exists

Pricing for AI agent tools is deliberately hard to compare. One bills per operation, the next per credit, another per execution or per resolution. The sticker price tells you almost nothing about what a month of real usage will cost. And most "best tool" lists are advertorials that quietly rank by commission.

Dirr is built to be the opposite: a sober, sourced instrument you can actually check. The number is the product. If we cannot stand behind a figure, we do not publish it. We flag it verify live and link you to the vendor's own page.

What we do

Three things an AI overview cannot reproduce.

01

Decode the price

Credits, operations, executions and per-resolution meters, all translated into one comparable monthly number so you compare like with like.

real cost, not sticker price
02

Score on a fixed rubric

Rankings come from transparent, published weights applied identically to every tool. Two people running the same inputs get the same order.

03

Track what changes

Pulse is a weekly diff of the whole category: price moves, new capabilities and lifecycle shifts, dated and sourced.

Who is behind it

Dirr is operated by an independent publisher based in Sweden, built and maintained by an independent research team. It is not a vendor and not a venture. We keep the focus on the method rather than personalities, because a reference earns trust through transparent process, not a byline. If the sources are linked and the rubric is published, the work can speak for itself.

How we are funded is no secret. Dirr is reader-supported, and some links to tools are affiliate links. A commission never changes a number we show you or the order results appear in. Tools that do not pay are included and ranked on exactly the same rubric. The full disclosure, the sourcing process and the scoring weights all live in our methodology.
