Cookie policy
The short version: four cookies keep the site and your sign-in working, three more measure our ads and only exist if you press Accept. Nothing here follows you around the internet.
How this works
Until you answer the banner, we set nothing that is not needed to keep the site working. If you accept, we add the advertising cookies listed below. If you decline, we do not, and every part of the product behaves exactly the same.
You can change your mind at any time by clearing the dirr-consent cookie in your browser, or by emailing us and asking. Withdrawing consent does not undo measurement that already happened.
Cookies we set whatever you choose
These four exist so the service can function. None of them are used for advertising and none of them follow you to other sites.
- dirr-consent
- Remembers whether you accepted or declined the banner, so we do not ask again. Set by us on dirr.ai. Lasts 12 months.
- dirr_lead
- Proves that this browser is the one that started your enquiry, so nobody else can open your brief or your previews. Signed, HTTP-only, not readable by scripts. Lasts 30 days.
- sb-…-auth-token
- Keeps you signed in to your customer dashboard after a one time code. Set by Supabase, our authentication provider, on our behalf. Cleared when you sign out.
- dirr_admin_v2
- Our own staff login for the admin area. Never set on a customer or visitor browser.
Cookies that wait for your consent
These only exist if you pressed Accept. Their whole job is telling us which of our ads brought someone here, so we stop paying for the ones that do not work.
- _fbp
- Meta Pixel. Identifies this browser to Meta so a signup can be matched back to the ad that caused it. Lasts about 90 days.
- _fbc
- Meta Pixel. Stores the click identifier from the ad you arrived on. Lasts about 90 days.
- dirr-lp
- Ours. Records which version of our landing page you arrived on, so we can compare them. Lasts 30 days.
The sites we build for customers
Websites we build and host for our customers do not carry our advertising cookies. What a customer's own visitors meet is that customer's responsibility as the controller of their site, and if they add their own tracking they disclose it on their own site.
Blocking cookies yourself
Every browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings. Blocking the necessary ones will break sign-in and may lose your place in the signup, which is a browser setting doing its job rather than a fault.
