Acceptable use policy

The rule

dirr is for real businesses with lawful content. If your business is real and what you sell is legal, nothing here will trouble you.

What we will not build or host

• Anything illegal where you operate or where we operate.
• Content that sexualises children, in any form, ever.
• Sites whose purpose is to deceive: fake shops, fake reviews, impersonating another business, phishing, or claiming credentials, certifications or awards you do not hold.
• Malware, ransomware, credential harvesting, or infrastructure for attacking anyone.
• Harassment of a named person, incitement to violence, or content that promotes hatred against people for who they are.
• Adult content, gambling, weapons and ammunition sales, illegal drugs, and the paraphernalia that goes with them.
• Pyramid schemes, multi-level marketing recruitment, get rich quick offers, and unlicensed financial or investment advice.
• Content you do not have the rights to: someone else's photos, someone else's copy, someone else's trade mark used as your own.
• Bulk email, list rental, or using a site we host as the landing page for spam.

Regulated work needs a person, not a first draft

We can build for healthcare, legal, financial and other regulated businesses. What changes is that we do not let generated copy make a regulated claim on your behalf: claims about outcomes, credentials, licences, medical results or financial returns get written or checked by you before anything goes live.

If you are in one of those industries, say so during the intake. It changes how we build, not whether we will.

Using the platform fairly

One subscription buys one business one website. Do not resell the platform, do not run someone else's business site on your subscription, and do not use the builder to mass produce sites.

Do not try to break the service: no scraping our previews, no probing for vulnerabilities without asking us first, no attempts to reach another customer's data. If you find a security problem, email us and we will thank you properly.

If someone complains about a site

Anyone can report a site we host by emailing us with the address and what is wrong with it. We look at every report.

For most things we contact the customer first and give them a chance to fix it. For content that is clearly illegal, or that puts someone at risk right now, we take it down first and explain afterwards.

What happens if a site breaks these rules

We tell you what the problem is and give you a reasonable chance to fix it. If it is not fixed, or the breach is serious, we take the site offline.

A takedown for a serious breach ends the agreement, and the remaining months of your term stay payable. That is the one case where the term is not refunded, and it exists so this page has teeth.

Terms of service

Reporting something

Report it at dirr.ai/contact with the site address and what you are reporting. If it is a copyright claim, include what was copied, where the original is, and confirmation that you own it or act for whoever does.
